These are the founding values of the brand that came into existence on 24 June 1910, when A.L.F.A. (Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili) was established in Milan. Five years later, the company was acquired by engineer and entrepreneur Nicola Romeo, who changed the company name to Alfa-Romeo, marking the beginning of one of Italy’s most famous brands. Some of these beautiful icons are now showcased at the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese (Milan). A time machine that pays tribute to Italian ingenuity, from the first A.L.F.A. car, the 24 Hp, to the legendary winners of the Mille miglia, including Tazio Nuvolari’s 6C 1750 Gran Sport; from the 8C Touring Spider to the Alfa Romeo 159, Formula 1 world champion with Juan Manuel Fangio; from the Giulietta, the iconic car of the ‘50s, to the 33 Tt 12. In this symbolic place, on 24 June 2015 the new Giulia Quadrifoglio was unveiled to the world at a special event with a performance by Andrea Bocelli. The new Giulia represents Alfa Romeo’s new paradigm and is the highest expression of the Mechanics of emotions. The first of a new generation of Alfa Romeo cars, the Giulia Quadrifoglio embodies the five elements that have made Alfa Romeo a unique global brand, i.e. state-of-the-art engines, perfect 50-50 weight distribution, unique technical solutions, the best power-to-weight ratio for every category, and an extraordinary, distinctive Italian design.
